The Clinical Laboratory of Jinshan Campus is a comprehensive laboratory integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research, which is a branch of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. The Clinical Lab, established in 2014, is made up of Clinical Biochemical Lab, Clinical Microbiology Lab, Clinical hematology Lab, Clinical Humoral Lab, Clinical Immunology Lab, Emergency Lab and Novel Coronavirus Testing Lab. The Emergency Lab and Novel Coronavirus Testing Lab provide 24 hours service, other Labs offer routine service 5 days a week. All reports are available in both English and Mandarin.

The Laboratory is equipped with modern instruments to quickly provide accurate results to patients. The instruments are : Automatic biochemistry analyzer, Automatic coagulation analyzer, Automatic specific protein analyzer, Automatic hematology analyzer, Automatic microbiology analyzer, Real time flurescence PCR Analyzer, Automatic time differential flurescence immunology analyzer, Trace elements analyzer and so on. Laboratory Information System (LIS) was also established linked to Hospital Information System (HIS) with comprehensive information serving a variety of patients.

The Clinical Laboratory of Jinshan Hospital is one ISO15189 accredited laboratory including Clinical diagnosis, health assessment and disease prevention or control. The ISO15189 Accreditation ensures that test results are more reliable, accurate and comparable to results from other labs. It also promotes the quality improvement of the laboratory continuously.

Besides, to ensure the results could be sent to patients accurately and in time, our department has established a series of strict rules and regulations, which are managed respectively in each steps of the analysis without any omission. The Lab carries out the quality control rules and regulations strictly every day.
