He graduated from the Department of Medicine of Chongqing Medical University in 1986. After graduation, he was engaged in imaging diagnosis in the Radiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. He is good at CT and MR diagnosis of common and frequently-occurring diseases.
He serves as the editorial board member of "Journal of Chongqing Medical University", reviewer of "Journal of China Medical University", the judge of Chongqing Medical University Scientific Research Foundation & Chongqing Natural Science Foundation. The research area is tumor molecular imaging. Currently, as the project leader, he undertakes 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Chongqing Natural Science Foundation project, 1 Excellent Doctoral Fund project of Chongqing Medical University and 1 Scientific Research Fund project of Chongqing Municipal Health Bureau. As an associate editor, he participated in the compilation of "Basic Theories and Clinical Countermeasures of Breast Cancer" funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in the compilation of the 11th Five-Year National Planning Textbook "Radiation Protection", and obtained 1 national invention patent as the first inventor.
