Vice Director of Obstetrics Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Director of International Collaboration Laboratory supported by Minster of Education -“China-Canad-New Zealand Jointed Laboratory of Maternal-Fetal Medicine”.
Professor Zhang serves as youth council of Pregnancy Hypertension Branch of the Chinese Medical Association of Perinatal Medicine, expert committee of Perinatal Medicine of Chongqing Medical Association, vice chairman of Youth Committee of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Chinese Medical Association, vice director of Perinatal Physician Branch of Chongqing physician Association, and“Chongqing Hundred Millions Projects Leader Talent Training Program Candidate”.
Professor Zhang’s present main researches are pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes mellitus, gestational hypertension, and preterm birth. As one of the editorial board members, Professor Zhang has published 7 textbooks. Professor Zhang has been awarded 6 grants including key and general programs from National Natural Science Foundation of China. Professor Zhang has published over 40 journal articles, and invented two patents.
